“My satisfaction comes from making huge changes in people’s lives”
Dr. Boschert believes in treating the whole person and in being as honest as possible. If he believes that surgery is not right for a person, he says so. He always shares great advice about nutrition, fitness and all aspects of a person’s health. “My work is not isolated,” he says, “I want my patients to do what’s right before surgery, after surgery and for the rest of their lives.”
“As a child, I couldn’t stand to see something broken.”
Dr. Boschert believes that being a good physician is about being a good problem solver. That point of view is what motivates his work. He says it is often the more subtle nuances that age people – that make them look tired, sad, or unhappy. Plastic surgery can change how the world responds to that person and can help the person look like he or she feels. Dr. Boschert “fixes” what time and heredity have not made perfect.
“People want others to think they look great for their age.”
Dr. Boschert strives for a natural appearance so that friends just think that person looks rested, refreshed and happy. People simply want to look like they feel; to stop feeling self-conscious about something. “I watch many people bolster their self-confidence and revive their self-esteem just by addressing one aspect of their body. It is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do! It’s my job to restore what they feel they have lost.”
“Being a good listener is a vital part of what I do.”
Dr. Boschert is known for his ability to connect with people, to figure out what they want to accomplish, and to guide them toward that outcome. It is science, of course, but it is also an art to create beautiful outcomes and make the process a pleasurable one– one where the patient feels cared for and supported.
“I love to travel and take great care of myself.”
Dr. Boschert lives a well-rounded life. He practices what he preaches, being as health-conscious for himself as his patients. His fitness activities include snowboarding and running marathons.
