SkinPen

SkinPen at Renaissance Plastic Surgery is a minimally invasive, Micro-Needling device used to restore your skin’s youthful appearance. Micro-Needling—a process in which tiny needles are used to create micro injuries—works to induce your body’s natural collagen and elastin production. The treatment takes just one hour and the recovery period will take only 1-3 days.

With SkinPen, a wide range of skin issues can be dramatically improved, including common signs of aging, such as wrinkles, texture or tone flaws, and hard or rough skin. We can also use the SkinPen treatment to improve acne scars or stretch marks, and even for minimizing chest and neck wrinkles.

SkinPen in St. Louis is a highly versatile treatment and can be used to treat all skin types and pigments. We require two additional products for patients to use in combination with their SkinPen treatment: a hydrating hyaluronic gel to assist with skin healing, and sunscreen to protect the skin from external damage following treatment. The cost of these products will be covered in your first SkinPen treatment. This way, we can get you the products for immediate use following your upcoming SkinPen St. Louis treatment and any future sessions. We typically recommend three SkinPen treatments about 4-6 weeks apart for the best results.
