Born and raised in St. Louis, Dr. Hulsey brings a strong academic foundation, comprehensive surgical training, and a thoughtful, patient-first approach to care.
St. Louis Roots & Medical Foundation
Dr. Hulsey earned her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of Missouri, graduating cum laude in 2010. After gaining valuable real-world experience in the San Francisco Bay Area, she returned to Missouri to pursue her medical degree—an experience that helped shape her grounded, compassionate philosophy of patient care.
She received her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Missouri School of Medicine in 2017 and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society in 2016, a distinction recognizing academic excellence and leadership in medicine.
Plastic Surgery Training & Experience
Dr. Hulsey completed her Integrated Plastic Surgery Residency at the University of Missouri in 2023, where she received extensive training in both cosmetic plastic surgery and breast reconstruction. During residency, she trained within the same surgical lineage as Drs. Boschert and Craig, reinforcing a shared philosophy centered on precision, safety, and aesthetic balance.
Following residency, Dr. Hulsey practiced in a private plastic surgery setting in St. Louis for two years. During this time, she further refined her expertise in facial, breast, and body procedures, with a particular focus on breast reconstruction surgery.
