Sculptra®

Our faces are constantly changing as we get older. Over time, your skin begins to lose essential substances such as collagen and fat, which can leave you with unwanted signs of aging such as lines, wrinkles, and folds. Sculptra is a one-of-a-kind filler that helps to restore collagen over time to gradually bring back a more youthful appearance.

The Sculptra Difference

While hyaluronic acid based fillers are extremely popular for restoring a natural-looking youthfulness to the face, there are some who don’t quite want the “overnight” or immediate results of these treatments. Sculptra is a great alternative for men and women who prefer a more subtle and gradual approach to reducing their signs of aging.

Sculptra is a synthetic volumizing filler that is made from poly-L-lactic acid. This bio acid works to safely restore collagen to your skin and help treat common concerns, such as:

  • Smile lines
  • Marionette lines
  • Chin wrinkles

Your Sculptra Treatment

Your full Sculptra treatment at R Medical Spa will consist of several individual sessions designed to gradually replenish collagen and treat your specific concerns. During your consultation, we will take a close look at your skin and listen to your expectations to formulate a personalized Sculptra plan for you. The number of sessions required will depend on the severity of your signs of aging and the outcome you are looking to achieve.

Each Sculptra session will be performed about a month or so apart. Most men and women are able to achieve optimal results with an average of about three individual sessions. With each Sculptra session, you will notice subtle, yet beautiful improvements on your way to a more youthful and natural look. Once your treatment is complete, you will be able to enjoy the results of Sculptra for up to two complete years.
